"Sol Pais made a threat to hurt school children, specifically those at Columbine High School."

This is false.
This is the most common, hurtful, and dangerous misconception in relation to Sol Pais. Sol Pais never made a threat to Columbine High School.

Sol Pais landed in Denver International Airport, mid-morning, on April 15, 2019 (Monday.)
Sol, after already having landed in Denver, was first reported missing to Florida authorities by her parents later that night because she had not attended school and had never returned home.
When Sol disembarked her plane in Denver she, at the time, was not reported as a threat nor as a missing person.
Sol would leave DIA via Uber at approx. 10:19am.
She then traveled immediately from the airport to a local gun store in Littleton (approx. 2 miles West of Columbine HS) to legally purchase a Mossberg 500 pump-action shotgun along with 3 boxes of amunition. (55 Shells.) She spent 300 dollars. At the time Sol bought a gun it would be about 24 hours before the FBI first became aware of her existence.
Sol, after this purchase, traveled via Uber to a mountain-road leading up to Mt. Evans. (7230 Squaw Pass Rd, Idaho Springs CO) Sol, very soon after being dropped off on the (very snowy) road, traveled an unknown distance to a “flat forest” area approx. Half a mile-1 mile from Echo Lake Lodge where she committed suicide.
Sol Pais, according to Colorado’s Corner, Clear Creek County’s Undersheriff, and the FBI, died not even knowing she was being looked for.
There has never been evidence of ANY (written, verbal, sarcastic, etc.) threat Sol Pais made to hurt anybody at all, including herself.
Pais was reported missing the night of April 15th, 2019.
The FBI reported Pais as being a threat late afternoon on Apr 16, 2019.
Sol Pais was already dead.
The FBI assumed Sol was a threat due to the fact that she:
1.   Had a online presence displaying her interest in the Columbine High School Massacre case as well as "troubling" comments made about Eric Harris, one of the Columbine shooters. She expressed admiration and idolization for him as a person, not because of what he did.
2.   Was reported missing
3.   Was reported as having a “possible mental illness” (SOURCE)
4.   Bought three one way tickets. The FBI is reported as saying this, along with Sol purchasing a gun as soon as she got off her plane, is what tipped the authorites off to Sol.
5.   Traveled to Denver, Co. alone on a one way ticket without telling anybody.
6.   Purchased a gun 2mi away from Columbine High School.
These factors, though suspicious, are not threats.
Sol was dead LONG BEFORE the FBI reported her as threatening. Sol Pais traveled to Denver, CO. to commit suicide. She had no plan to hurt anybody but herself.
Sol was found deceased via self inflicted gunshot wound between 10:30 and 10:40 a.m on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019. She had been dead for approx. 2 days.
This misconception created by Florida and Colorado officials is still, despite being completely incorrect, being pushed by mass-media.
Sol didn't want to hurt anybody but herself. She did not deserve this.
